But, finding a good read -- to slip into your carry-on bag or beach tote -- isn't always easy We wondered what writers were reading over the summer? Intro Your Heart Return to index of stories... |
Are you ruled by your head, or by your heart? And, which is better in making those all important choices in life. Lexington, Massachusetts author Gail Harris, contends listening to your heart is better, it represents the inner voice that many of us learn to ignore. Harris has written a book aimed at helping others tap into that voice and to learn the language of the heart. It's called "Your Heart Knows The Answer," how to trust yourself and make the choices that are right for you. Gail Harris Welcome. Q Your Heart knows the Answer. What does that MEAN?? |
Your Heart Book Return to index of stories... |
Q How do you distinguish the voice of your HEART from the NEGATIVE voices of your head Q The head and heart often DISAGREE. Is the HEAD always WRONG?? Q Shouldn't there be a BALANCE between listening to your head and heart. Q Was it PERSONAL experience that motivated you to write this?? Q What do you think qualifies you to speak to this issue? Q You also conduct " Your Heart Knows" workshops? what is it that you TEACH? Q SO, you believe the Heart's voice is our INNER COMPASS. Why don't we LISTEN to our HEARTs more? Q Which GENDER is ruled more by the head than the heart. I would guess Men -- would I be wrong? Q You talk about PITFALLS to avoid? Give me an example? Q How do you battle outside influences that might SWAY you from following your heart?? Q You say don't SHUSH that inner voice -- its trying to tell you something. Q Some key points you make: - commit to using heart and mind when deciding -think about what you truly want -- remind yourself you deserve it -when you ask your heart what the right choice is. heart will reveal -a non-decision is also a decision GAIL HARRIS, THANK YOU |
